Liz leaves school with a grade C in typing, bulimia and promiscuity. Escaping from Essex to London she embarks on a counselling diploma, determined to dive into the world of psychotherapy and confront the buried traumas of her childhood.

This compelling and insightful memoir of becoming a psychotherapist is told with Liz’s signature, dark, candid humour that has captivated audiences in her live comedy performances.
